Great gym, more machines than any other retro in the area.
It's my gym that I go to. They play rap and hip hop that gets you pretty pumped imo. Lots of machine and the owner always likes to buy new equipment. Decent amount of people that lift. Men's bathroom is aight, they sometimes dont have warm water when I've taken a shower there.
Best of both worlds type gym. Not too hardcore and not too soft like planet fitness. Nice staff and clean facility.
Any Retro that uses Life Fitness and Cybex machines, as opposed to those crummy Star Trac ones (nice and clean, yet awkward range of motion), are top notch Retros. Kenilworth is among the great Retros, plus it is roomy and there's ample space between the machines. They have every equipment item needed there. Clean, comfortable, and conveniently close to the Parkway.
The staff are really helpful (I always ask questions about equipment or exercises if I'm not sure), the equipment are a step up from planet fitness or what you would see in a typical gym, great place to build muscle and can get crowded like any other gym during peak hours, parking lot needs some improvement though!
